If you are thorough you saw they are hosting an event this week. They also have incredible food! I always hear that Tally doesn’t have good barbeque. Those naysayers obviously haven’t been here! If you are looking for barbeque that won’t disappoint and leave you laying in your lazy boy all day, look no further!

Lichgate
1401 High Rd
Bet you didn’t know Tally had it’s own Fairy Cottage… Lichgate on High Rd is just that. It’s a tiny English-style cottage tucked under a massive live oak tree that’s estimated to be a few hundred years old. The place feels almost out of place for Florida, like you stepped into a storybook. It was created by a local professor who wanted a peaceful retreat for reading and reflection, and that’s still exactly what it is. To be so close to campus, yet so quiet will leave you thinking you just teleported.
Random Tally Fact:
Did you know Florida Agriculture & Mechanical University’s Marching 100 has performed at 5 Super Bowls. Even performing with Prince at the 2007 Super Bowl.
